There's something about an actor who works from the heart. EYE CANDY OF THE WEEK
Will Smith

(Part 2 of 2). In the PODCASTS Section, we give you the skinny on our LIVE, call-in show at BlogTalkRadio.com. Check it out! UPDATE ON OUR PODCASTS ARCHIVES: We're informed by our friends at Blip.tv that the old link provided in previous Blog postings don't work as well for you as simply going to our Archive page on their site. Don't YOU ever wonder why so many Blogs are bull and doring? I know I do. You expect to find the same thing every day. How un-creative! I'd like to visit a Blog where I could expect the unexpected. So I decided to create one. This Web Blog was haphazardly produced without using Spell Check one danged time. We like it that way.

In case you didn't know it, I take this upcoming election seriously. Just listen to my last show over at BlogTalkRadio.com and get a Clue. And if you haven't seen this report from Bill Moyer's Journal over at PBS.org, I hope you'll thank me. I especially, advise you to watch this video long enough to watch Condoleeza Rice, the U.S, Secretary of State, dissemble and dodge. And then ask me why I am constantly talking about the abuses of the Empire.
Do check out his Blog and his music. You'll be glad you did. I'll have MUCH more to say about his work over time. 6 February 2008:I BELIEVE we have quite an exciting installment of the Blog for you today with exceptionally fine reporting from MORAA GITAA, concluding her report on the political turmoil in Kenya, and JOE O'NEILL, returning to these pages after a long hiatus to report from Belfast, Northern Ireland, on the political shenanigans provoked by the actions of Ian Paisley, Jr. Once again, we're trying to offer you international reporting that is insightful and informative. Meanwhile, I'll be using my time to look at last night's "Super Tuesday" contest here in the United States and make a few comments about the campaign. Let's Start with Mitt RomneyAs Loyal Readers know, I've con sidered Romney a little too smarmy (now there's an old and under-used word!) all along. That he was whining a couple of days ago that front-runner John McCain and the ever-affable Mike Huckabee were cutting some kind of "backroom deal" against him didn't play well here in the No Whine Zone. It sounded too much to this Blogger that Mitt knew he had invested personal millions in a failed candidacy and didn't want to face the reality that he simply hadn't connected with the voters. That PLUS some commentary I'd heard from various other political junkies like my pal over at the Field Negro Blog, among others, about suspicions regarding ole Mitt. So I wasn't surprised, at the end of the endless night, to find Mitt continuing to whine and Huckabee having established himself as the second place guy and a good match as the number two man on the Republican ticket. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in tune with Huckabee's politics AT ALL but I have to admit he's a mild-mannered guy and seems to have a sense of humor. Of course, by the end of it all, I was plenty tired. You see, I've been faling behind on both my personal and professional agendas lately because I haven't been feeling that well - physically. Some days, I can't even keep water down. My pal, Mike, thinks I must have gotten some kind of bug. I mean, who can't keep down a glass of water? Therefore, my food intake is even more on the wane than ever. Here it is the first day of Lent, Mardi Gras is now officially over, and all during the Carnaval season, I'm almost afraid to eat anything - for feat it will simply come back up. Sheesh! BUT this is a NO Whine Zone, so let me move on the Democrats. I have one thing to say right up front, "Shame on you, California!" I wasn't that upset about your fickle pick of Governator, you always did seem infatuated with having actors pretend to be Governors but as Maria Shriver said just a few days ago, Obama is the candidate made for California. What is this? Some kind of Camelot backlash or something. Hilary Clinton? Oh puh-leaze! [DISCLAIMER: I was a life-long Democrat until Dollar Bill Clinton came along. He cured me of any "Yellow Dog" tendencies I might have had. As you might note from the RANTS section of this Blog, I have come to think of the name Clinton as synonymous with the word "Betrayal."] Finally, I have to comment about "Smiling John" Edwards, someone who - I suppose - I've had mixed feelings about since he entered presidential politics. He says he has suspended his campaign. That leaves the door open for him to either:
Talk about thinking like a lawyer. That he is sitting on his hands right now reminds me of when he was Kerry's running mate and went MIA. I thought, when he began championing the plight of New Orleans, that maybe the man had finally found his cause and his cajones - now I'm not so sure. One last note, if you stayed awake through the entire circus last night, you know that Hilary has already come out and said she wants to have one debate every week, for the next month at least, with Barack Obama. What that tells me is that she knows some her support is soft and could evaporate at the convention. It's not the kind of move someone sure of himself or herself would make and it's a ploy to move public perception of Obama before his new fundraising juggernaut really takes off. I hope he does not fall for it. But you never know what calculations or miscalculations people are prone to make in the heat of a campaign. NOTE: My colleague Antonio is seeking financial support to complete the documentary is building on the plight of the Shan people of Burma.
