There is Everything about Sofia Vergara, isn't there? EYE CANDY OF THE WEEK
Sofia Vergara
NOW PLAYING: In the PODCASTS Section, we give you the skinny on our LIVE, call-in show at BlogTalkRadio.com. Check it out! UPDATE ON OUR PODCASTS ARCHIVES: We're informed by our friends at Blip.tv that the old link provided in previous Blog postings don't work as well for you as simply going to our Archive page on their site. Please be advised and apologies for the inconvenience. Don't YOU ever wonder why so many Blogs are bull and doring? I know I do. You expect to find the same thing every day. How un-creative! I'd like to visit a Blog where I could expect the unexpected. So I decided to create one. This Web Blog was haphazardly produced without using Spell Check one danged time. We like it that way.

Those of you without Day Jobs or who are general lay-abouts can join me for my interview with Professor Robert Jensen over at BlogTalkRadio.com this morning, I hope. Feel free to call-in and ask Bob any questions you might have about his enlightening books and articles. [See Right Sidebar for program notes.] Meanwhile, let's move away from this Shameless Self-Promotion, so that I can get back to what I do best at this Blog, my lovelies. Fasten your seat-belts. SOME OF YOU - especially Long-time Loyal Readers (LLRs) - have likely noted that the hardest job I have always had in this life is living up to my own expectations. Talk about your Thankless Jobs! This is a No Whine Zone, of course, but on days like today, I think about stuff like this. I've piled on new projects and new Web sites in 2007 in preparation for what I mean to show you in 2008. But you must be wondering why. Here's your answer. I plan to go back to Europe in 2009 for the G21 Party. I've invited all the writers who wrote for Your World's Magazine to join me for a party - in a castle in France it seems right now - so that we can finally meet face-to-face ("f2f" in Geekspeak). It is my great dream for my dotage. Everyone needs a dream. BUT that means I have to work my narrow ass off until then to make it happen. Rust never sleeps. Once in A LifetimeLying awake the other night, I came to the conclusion that I had had my best sexual experience years ago. That's a sad and frightening admission to make to oneself. I know it makes you quake a bit when I make intimate admissions like this, my lovely, but as Hemingway wrote, "It's easy to be hard-bitten during the day... but at night." So it is with you and me and most people I suspect. We both know that I analyze EVERYTHING to death. Especially my own life. So, upon reflection, I came to the realization we are considering now. No one, before or since, was quite as good, earth-shattering, involving. After her, I slept with six or seven other women - being the kind of man I am - but no one ever took me there the way she did. Yes, the earth moved. I couldn't get enough. I was like a hungry child. Those of you not inclined to the sensual pleasures of life might find this disturbing, I know. But for those of us who find sensuality in a meal, in the look of the sky in the morning or the wind on our cheeks, this is no great leap. Did I want to marry her? But of course! Did it happen? Figure it out. Would I be writing a reminiscence like this one - or gone on to the other women - if so? No regrets, though. I'd be half the interesting writer and Student of Love I am today if I had actually found happiness. A young man, who was also a film extra with me in San Francisco, once commented that the best line I'd written, up until that point, was this one: "You haven't lived until you've been emotionally damaged." ROD'S channel on MyStrandsTv is here.
Heigh-Yo, Silver! We are now the Lone Ranger nation, aren't we? Do you think that was what George Dubya had in mind all along? Can't you just picture it? He's lying in bed at night at 1600 Pennsylvania and thinking to himself: "Whoa! I could be the Lone Ranger! I'm from Texas, after all. What if we had everyone in the world askin', 'Who was that masked man?' "I could do that. The heck with what ever'body else says. Dick says that I can almost be dictator of America - the most powerful nation on Earth - why not?" Now all he needed was his dark-skinned pardner. Enter Condoleeza Rice, stage right. Wait a minute! What ever became of those G.O.P. fantasies of Condi neutralizing Hillary? Anybody except me remember those?
So when I saw those cute little "Condi in 2008" stickers, buttons and Web banners, I felt like I wanted to retch. Didn't Chevron name an oil tanker after her? Need I say more? When former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Allbright said that the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children was a justifiable price to pay, I felt ill and dispirited. Looking at Condi's mismanagement of the State Department, I want to slit my wrists and run to the bathroom and slash my throat. But that is life in the Empire these days, isn't it? Don't call me Cicero. Thanks for coming back to visit. Your Comments are always welcomed. BIG NEWS! You can now and henceforth find all of the G21 PODCASTS over at Blip.tv. Just click on the link http://g21lightningstrikes.blip.tv/posts?view=archive and you can download to your iTunes or iPod and hear some of the thought leaders for this new century that I mean to bring to you. It will be updated with new episodes regularly, as you must know. You're welcome. Oh yes, I was young during the 1980s and cheesy stuff like this, shown on MTV, sucked me in like it did a lot of people. Imagine me feeling like a fool. Enjoy!: Cheers! RAKeep me in your prayers as I keep you in my own. Thanks for visiting. "Work like you don't need the money, "Love like you've never been hurt, "Dance like no one is watching ... " Talk to you in a day or so. Be well. Leave a Comment
