Sofia Vergara
NOW PLAYING: In the PODCASTS Section, we give you the skinny on our LIVE, call-in show at BlogTalkRadio.com. Check it out! UPDATE ON OUR PODCASTS ARCHIVES: We're informed by our friends at Blip.tv that the old link provided in previous Blog postings don't work as well for you as simply going to our Archive page on their site. Please be advised and apologies for the inconvenience. Don't YOU ever wonder why so many Blogs are bull and doring? I know I do. You expect to find the same thing every day. How un-creative! I'd like to visit a Blog where I could expect the unexpected. So I decided to create one. This Web Blog was haphazardly produced without using Spell Check one danged time. We like it that way.

That's right. Tell Howard Stern to watch out from now on because I've I'm on his ass. There. I said it. You've seen me at EnterpriseLeadership.org, ITConversations (as a podcast producer), Slashdot.org, ITManager's Journal, NewsForge, PR Tactics, Silicon.com, the S.F. Bay Guardian's BBS, G21: The World's Magazine and now here. The Rod 2008 Plan is demonstrated by the new splash page. Between blip.tv; BlogTalkRadio's live, call in show; CinemActivist.com; LeverageSocialMedia.com and; here at G21:Lightning Strikes, my lovelies, I mean to expand the Internet media empire that has always been part of my destiny. As I've said before, "Fasten your seatbelts and move your tray tables into the upright position. We are about to go airborne." In 2008, after you get out of the haze of your holiday and family fun, we'll be bringing you a lot more information, analysis and FUN.
Rotney, We Hardly Knew Ya'How many of you understood when I was joking in the opening part of this post? My Personal Assistant (PA) and I have a running jokes about how people - like her, like Yours Unruly - go through life with the handicap of people NOT knowing when we are being humorous rather than intentionally offensive. I recall, looking back at my youth, when people would comment that I laughed at inappropriate moments. Fact was, they didn't hear my personal internal dialogue about some comment they had just made that I found
For example, when the late President of the United States, the G.O.P. Saint, Ronald Reagan, made the statement that "... trees pollute more than factories", I had to laugh out loud. I mean, puh-leaze! Many of my co-workers and friends found this laughter, especially considering that it was to a statement made by the Leader of the Free World, inappro priate. Me, I'm thinking, "Do you realize how absurd what he said really is? I like satire and I couldn't write a line that good!" Hmmn. You can only begin to imagine what I've thought about the pronouncements from the troika of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld. ![]() WILL THE GPHONE KICK THE IPHONE'S ASS? I think that's a valid question after looking at this article at Information Week. (Forgive me, Kids. Sometimes I do wax Geeky. That's what I used to get paid for.) Yes, I've been a big supporter for of Apple Computer for years. I *still* felt that what Uncle Steve did with the iPhone release was wrong. (You know.) A lot of my Homies paid the initial price only to get burned - as far as I'm concerned. That just wasn't right. Do I think that Apple Computer is the End-All-And-Be-All? No. These Memory Machines are just tools. Like a hammer or a rake. I just have always liked machines that would do what I asked, rather than dictate to me and try to change my way of living. Windoze, for example, is a dictator. I prefer a machine that knows I'm in charge. End of story. Life of RodHonestly, Kidlings, it has been better. Sure, I have a Big Plans. But isn't that like having a Wish and Prayer? I feel fortunate that I still have a roof over my head and a bunch of good friends. But I quake when looking into the future I'm working on. My putative bosses are as uncertain as I am as we, once again, face an uncertain economy. The Internet has matured since 1999, the last time we had a boom followed by a catastrophic bust, but I still see kid bones rather than adult ones in some sectors. I can only hope that, this time, I won't take a MAJOR, financial and emotional hit. Keep me in your prayers as I keep you in my own. Thanks for coming back to visit. Your Comments are always welcomed. BIG NEWS! You can now and henceforth find all of the G21 PODCASTS over at Blip.tv. Just click on the link http://g21lightningstrikes.blip.tv/posts?view=archive and you can download to your iTunes or iPod and hear some of the thought leaders for this new century that I mean to bring to you. It will be updated with new episodes regularly, as you must know. You're welcome. Oh yes, I was young during the 1980s and cheesy stuff like this, shown on MTV, sucked me in like it did a lot of people. Imagine me feeling like a fool. Enjoy!: Cheers! RAKeep me in your prayers as I keep you in my own. Thanks for visiting. "Work like you don't need the money, "Love like you've never been hurt, "Dance like no one is watching ...
